The position is responsible for local (center level) creation, execution and distribution of the global GBS messaging narrative and engagement programmes which are consistent with storylines generated centrally by the global CME support workstream. The role requires close alignment with global communication calendar and messaging strategy to generate locally produced communications and activities that support local GBS employee engagement and awareness, and ensure consistent messaging with other centres. Locally the role actively cooperates with the Local GBS Management team in order to create and distribute localised messaging and engagement activities. Cooperates closely with other internal GBS teams - P&C and CA&C to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and helps to develop, maintain, and drive progress on integrated engagement (oneGBS/Center/local market).
- Content creation & engagement - serves as an expert for respective GBS Center in driving communication efforts, enabling the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications, especially for projects of significant business importance to the local organization. Provides ongoing support to Local GBS Management Team to maximize leadership storytelling, as well as local P&C team in employee engagement area. Leads internal crisis communication preparations and provides expert knowledge to mitigate potential negative impact on business and employees engagement. Manages internal communication channels such as Workplace, center-wide emails, office based communication tools (screens/posters etc.) and other available channels and tools.
- Events Management - responsible for preparation of internal engagement and communication related events for the center (for example Townhalls). Builds an annual local events calendar for respective GBS center, aligning local agendas closely with CME-owned GBS global events calendar to ensure consistency, manage employee audience bandwith, reinforce messaging for global change programmes and global narratives. Responsible for operational activity of executing on CME-led events held locally, and also for the creation of agendas, preparation of presentations, supervision of events logistics for locally owned events.
- Cross-functional cooperation – ensures required alignment with P&C and Change Management & Engagement functions within GBS, with regular attendance of CME function meetings. Also aligns with local CA&C function on Company’s flagship programs, related practices, communication strategies and tactics to ensure local consistency and compliance with local regulation.
- GBS brand visibility - establishes and maintains contacts with identified JTI partners in the industry, business and social organizations. Constantly develops a network of contacts to shape GBS image and promote GBS center positive reputation to support the implementation of business objectives. Represents the Company at required external events.
- Act as a Change Agent within GBS, in close alignment with CME, for both global and local change initiatives.
- Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.

- University degree in of administration, social science or communication, public relations/journalism (alternatively: law, philology or political science).
- At least 5 years of experience in similar positions in the tobacco industry, non-governmental organizations or FMCG, experience in other areas related to products subject to excise duty, regulatory issues or PR will be an advantage.
- Fluent English, Polish is a plus.
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Office tools.
