DevOps engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, release, and deployment processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Support, maintain, and improve deployment processes for .NET Framework and Python applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery, release management, and operational efficiency.
- Implement deployment automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment-related issues.
- Drive continuous improvements in platform reliability, scalability, and security.
- Participate in production incident response and root cause analysis activities.
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering role.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Route 53.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience supporting, deploying, and maintaining.NET and Python applications.
- Strong understanding of deployment automation and release management.
- Experience implementing Blue-Green deployment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Git and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
- Flexibility to attend evening meetings with US customer located in different time zone.
- Availability to support critical production incidents and emergency situations outside of regular business hours when required.
- Ability to respond effectively to high-priority operational issues and coordinate incident resolution with engineering teams.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience migrating applications to AWS or modernizing legacy environments.
- Experience with monitoring and observability solutions such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.
