The Entity Accounting and Reporting Specialist is responsible for supporting Finance and FP&A teams in ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, and financial planning. Collaborating closely with team members and cross-functional stakeholders, actively participating in meetings and contributing to projects assigned to the team.
- Take ownership of GBS R2R processes, overseeing data collection, analysis, posting initiation, and reporting within General Ledger, including IFRS and statutory accounting, reporting, and entity planning.
- Prepare timely and accurate draft IFRS and statutory reports in compliance with IFRS and local accounting regulations.
- Conduct reconciliations of key account balances such as accruals, accounts payables, prepayments, fixed assets, intangibles, and intercompany balances.
- Maintain comprehensive GBS transactional documentation (covering IFRS and statutory requirements) for assigned markets and update as needed to align Core Services with corporate and local accounting standards.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Execute and support JSOX controls, ensuring proper documentation of evidence.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, collaborating with internal and external business partners.
- A university degree, ideally in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, with a solid understanding of IFRS and other statutory or local GAAP.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in GL/RTR, including Financial Statement preparation (required) and experience in a multinational environment.
- Basic experience in FP&A activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Strong communication skills, a confident personality, and the ability to be both a collaborative team player and a business partner to operations.
- High integrity and adaptability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
