About the role:
We are looking for talented, curious, and energetic Java Developers with Kafka who have a keen focus on automation: you are passionate about major trends in the way of working including, for example, Lean IT, continuous delivery, cloud processes, etc.
Main responsibilities:
- Make sure that our applications are secure, stable and meet all regulatory requirements,
- Install, configure and implement software components,
- Make sure deployments and testing are automated,
- Integrate applications in our application landscape,
- Work in a cross-border agile squad, and actively contribute to continuous improvement of quality and speed.
Key requirements:
- High level knowledge on Kafka Streaming API or Kafka Connect and Schema registry,
- Advanced in Java backend development, Java Streams, Collections and Generics,
- Experienced in data integration techniques, ingesting to and consuming from Kafka,
- Professional experience with Agile methods / Scrum,
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 12c or higher, Oracle SQL,
- Linux (bash) scripting capabilities,
- Should be familiar with CI / CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Maven, CheckMarx, Git, Ansible,
- Excellent command of English.
