Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team working for a leading U.S.-based healthcare technology company. We provide practice management software for aesthetic clinics, medspas, and wellness centers. Hundreds of clinics across the country trust us to streamline operations, improve patient experience, and grow their practices.
In this role, you will be the primary guardian of product quality, executing thorough manual testing strategies to ensure our software is reliable, intuitive, and meets the high standards of the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive manual testing across various types, including functional, regression, integration, compatibility, and usability testing.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and checklists based on product requirements and design specifications.
- Actively participate in requirements analysis and design reviews to identify potential quality issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with high precision, providing clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence (screenshots, videos, logs).
- Verify bug fixes and conduct root-cause analysis to ensure complete resolution of issues.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including iOS developers, backend engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Support release processes by certifying that builds are ready for deployment and meet all quality gates.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, types, and processes (SDLC, STLC).
- Proven experience in creating clear and concise test documentation (test cases, bug reports, test plans).
- Experience in testing integrations with REST APIs using tools like Postman or Charles Proxy.
- Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and user experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in English (B1+) for effective communication with the international team.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or medical software development.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and security testing principles.
- Prior experience working in a SaaS environment.
- Basic knowledge of automation tools or scripts (optional, but a plus).
