RTR Accountant

- Job Purpose
- We are looking for an RTR (General Ledger) Accountant reporting directly to the RTR Team Leader
- This is a local role based in Poznań SSC
- As a finance professional, you will be responsible for accurate, efficient, and timely processing of general ledger activities
- Participate in projects and take initiative to improve processes, communication, and the overall work environment
- Day-to-day General Ledger operations: journal entries, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring, fixed assets accounting, intracompany reconciliations
- Carrying out month-end, year-end closing tasks
- Preparation and analysis of various reports, reporting financial results for consolidation purposes
- Assisting with departmental projects and standardization initiatives
- Identify and implement potential process improvements
- Take initiative to improve processes, communication, or overall work environment
- Ensure daily operations comply with Group finance policies and J-SOX requirements
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage priorities
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Oversee KPI analysis, root cause identification, and improvement suggestions
- Serve as the first line contact and support for any RTR-related queries
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Education, Master’s degree, or other certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or supplementary studies in Finance and Accounting (at least initiated) or completed external accounting training with certification
- Experience:
- Minimum 1.5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in General Ledger is a plus
- Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of SAP FI or other ERP/financial/accounting systems
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability to review, understand, and interpret financial data
- Languages Skills:
- Fluent English (C1 level)
